The essence of a piece of trash is foundational and didactic, it’s the thrown away drain that is brushed up against a dirty building. Kiley would like to highlight this contrast by embellishing the industrial and the found. She does this by transcribing meaning to overlooked found objects like a drain, or a cigarette carton laying on cement.
